HOT...eh!?!

Recommended Posts

So every day this month (June) the temps at the Rancho del Oro weather station have reached into the 90s. Looking back the last couple of years this was not the case then. An occasional day or two of 90 but not this stretch.

How are you folks holding up?  When will those relieving rains finally come?

From Informador on line, posted 2:30 Sunday afternoon:

".....En el caso específico de Guadalajara, la Conagua prevé que para el miércoles se alcance un máximo de 39 grados centígrados con cero probabilidad de lluvia........."       and that's only 39C next Wednesday where parts of the state are expected to hit 45...... with ZERO rain chance.

So the answer is  not any time soon enough!!!

Ha, Ha, I am in San Carlos. Right now we have not hit 90 but, that changes this week. July, August, September, at 90 we break out the blankets.

There still is part of in your area. Hang in there I remember hot days, this will pass in a week or so.

I don't actually think anyone is complaining, just making statements about the prolonged higher temperatures this year.  We certainly hope you never post a complaint about ANYTHING,  or, get ready for someone to comment that YOU HAVE NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT TO DO.

Isn't it wonderful that some people have nothing more important to do with their life than complain about the weather. :D

It is not looking good out there.  All those cool temps up north are because the polar jet is not moving up like it should and that is keeping high pressure over us from moving up and into the U.S. midwest.

June may be a complete loss, weather wise.  There is no sign this high pressure over basically all of Mexico is going anywhere for several weeks.  This rainy season could really come in well below average this year

Very nice sea breezes at the beach.

From Informador this afternoon:  La tercera ola de calor continúa con una fuerte presencia en el país y particularmente en Jalisco, de momento en el estado  se sostiene la amenaza de alcanzar una temperatura máxima de los 40 grados Celsius; sin embargo, en la zona metropolitana de Guadalajara el récord, hasta ahora, es de 37.9 °C, rango que podría superarse en la inmediatez y con la entrada de la cuarta ola de calor.

FOURTH HEAT WAVE BEGINNING        RANGE COULD EXCEED 40º C IN GUAD METRO ZONE

UNAM MEXICO SAYS   WILL CONTINUE ANOTHER 15 DAYS BASED ON STATISTICAL MODELS AT UNAM'S INSTITUTE OF  ATMOSPHERIC SCIENCE AND CLIMATE CHANGE

es una onda tropical que se propaga hacia el Este y que nace en el Océano Índico

THIS HEAT WAVE  WHICH IS HEADING EAST WAS BORN IN THE INDIAN OCEAN

I'm sure there are. But MC, while your weather info reports are always welcome, if you aren't HERE suffering along with the rest of us , and  since you already stated that last Sunday, now you're rubbing salt in our wounds :018::018::018:

Been over 100 F here in the Rio Grande Valley for the last 4 days and next 7 day forecast shows the lowest day at 102. High pressure sitting right over us so as MC says until it moves north neither of us will see any rain chances.
