Ferret
Lida is expected to pull a Kenna... aka a sharp right turn and affect the area around Puerto Vallarta... and us to a lesser extent. Be safe. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_ep5+shtml/144538.shtml?cone#contents

Mainecoons
Lydia appears to have already begun to move east. Also that developing low pressure to the SE of us shows signs of heading inland and Lydia could draw it up into our area. If the two converge we could see some big time rain locally. Check your gutters and yard drains. 😃

Usvetsinmexico
Wow that could be a heck of a 1 2 punch to our area.

Stream
Way back I spent a couple days hunting down Indian rain dance chants on the iPhone. Hopefully the mountains don't scrape most of the moisture out of clouds.
Floradude
Coming ashore today. The LCS has an afternoon concert in the park scheduled. Hopefully, the rain holds off here until later.
Usvetsinmexico
Wow it does look like both might hit us within the same day.
Mainecoons
The other one has pretty much fizzled out. Lydia, however, seems to be tracking more to the south than initially expected. It is also going to tap into the residual moisture left over from the other one. But can any significant amount get over the elevation rise or will most fall at lower elevations west of here? That is usually what happens with these storms. Our real significant rain comes on the easterlies and they were very weak this year, hence half the usual rainfall. Was down on the Malecon yesterday getting some graffiti and really noticed how little the lake has risen this year. We're going to see the pier high and dry soon. Won't be the first time as those who were here in the early 2000's know.

Mainecoons
Yep, beginning to look like we will be between both storms with little rain to show for it. Bummer.
ibarra
It has been pouring in Brisas de Chapala for over an hour.
dichosalocura
I can't speak for Brisas but in Chapala Centro it has been a consistent light sprinkle since 3:30 ish. Enough for an umbrella at least. But I wouldn't call it pouring quite yet. Hopefully tonight more will come.
