Can't help with the Aeromexico black hole but when making reservations on American I have to put the trip on hold and then call to get the tax removed. Sometimes they'll take the credit card info over the phone and other times I make payment on the portal with the cost reduced by the tax.

Some how I do not feel any guilt or need to go to confession, or repeat 100 bloody marys. But feel some pay back for the short or diluted gas that I have received these past 20 years

Never say "Never." I have had it happen occasional at WM and Soeiana. I once stupidly walked away leavine $2,000.00 cash back. Came back 30-minutes later with no proof. The manager ran the register against the cash in the drawer, made an apology and gave me the $2,000.00 That's honesty.

DID IT !!!!!!!!! Yes, you get to the power clean via the maintenance menu..... but I could not figure out HOW to get there. Said I needed to do it via "computer utility"......huh??? Wrote down instructions step by step in English manual. Not much luck. Finally tried via Control Panel ---- Devices/Printers------- and by sheer dumb luck and with ZERO knowledge of what I was doing, stumbled onto the maintenance tab. ..... and now it's CLEAN!!!!!
