Mainecoons
I get constant annoying "messages" from these clowns and there is no way to reply. How to stop? This is not a smart phone it is a dumb phone. I have stopped other spam by replying with "baja" but there is no way to do that with this spammer. Anyone getting this and have figured out how to block? Thanks.
barcelonaman
Send sms to 2222 and write baja
ComputerGuy
Great, it works. TelCel messages come far too often, 3 and 4 at a time, and often at ungodly hours.

ronhereagain
SMS is messaging on your cell. Easiest is to go to one of the "spam" notifications, click the message envelope thing , type in the 2222 and in the message box write baja and send it. Michael Turner
Thank you barcelonaman! I knew there had to be away to stop UNO TV spam.

mudgirl
I hate them as well and blocked them. The block seems to expire every year or so and they suddenly start appearing again. I have a friend who says she actually doesn't mind getting them- she uses them to improve on her Spanish reading skills, while alerting her to something in the news she might be interested in researching further. congodog
Do you type the 2222 in the message box along with the baja?
Mainecoons
No. You type baja in the message box and send that message to 2222.
congodog
I will get some help. I don't know how to "send to 2222". I can only respond to the original message. Edited June 1, 2018 by congodog
Mainecoons
Respond to the original message with "baja."
lkarelee
I used the BAJA message to 2222 several times and UNOTV continued to send me daily messages. I finally got fed up and went into TELCEL and show them all my attempts to stop the message. The clerk used "2252" BAJA instead - it worked. So if you continue to receive the UNOTV messages - try 2252 instead.
ComputerGuy
It may be that 2252 is a master number and will kill off other unwanted advertising messages as well.

You just go to where you create a new message on your phone, as if you were sending anyone a text message. Type in Baja, then send it to 2222, just like you would send a text message to someone's phone number. It doesn't work to try to send it as a reply to the UNOTV text. rckrckr
That didn't work on my phone so texted 2252 and so far so good.

Singering
Tried 2252 and 2222 both. “Message send failure.” ???
Shag
I'm in the states right now. I tried it and a red message came up and said "message not sent. Tap to try again" It will not send. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
happyjillin
I've learned to live with it and only get it about 4 times a day and delete.
