My wife just had an appointment there yesterday. She is a cancer survivor and had her operation there 5 years ago. As with all things IMSS patience is required. On more than one occasion we have had appointments scheduled and then upon showing up on that date we're told that the doctor isn't there. The hospital itself looks fairly new compared to others that I've been in. For some reason the elevator to the upper floors seems to be out of service more than it should for a hospital. Don't expect an IMSS hospital to compare with a hospital in the states or the more expensive ones in Guadalajara. Be prepared for more people and the resulting problems that incurs.

According to a thread on TOB Guad airport is part of the pilot program for paperless entry.

New FMM procedures are being phased in at certain locations in Mexico. This means some airports are using paperless procedures while other airports are still using paper FMM forms.

Also arrived back in early October…at Passport Control we were told by an English speaking agent that the FMM form was no longer being used…he returned them to us and said the passport stamp was all that was necessary…….this has also happened to several of our friends. The airlines do still however require the bottom section of the FMM form..( at the moment )

The biggest problem in Mx and many other countries is there is little to no accountability with doctors, hospitals, attorneys, etc. IMO, the best you can hope for ia an apology (never in writing) for the "inconvenience" caused you.

I will recommend TotalPlay. I consistently have service in Riberas. I have just internet which comes with a VOIP line BUT you can port your Telmex number if you wish. I had all three services for six months then I dumped Telmex and iLox. For the record, I pay 689 per month to TotalPlay for 200 mbps down and 30 mbps up. To put icing on the cake, I actually receive a discount if I pay before a certain date and I always receive a thank you for my payment. Great customer service.

If - regardless of reason - you’ve decided you’re not happy where you are and want to move on that’s your your prerogative. Your contract will tell you what you’re obligation is to the landlord over and above certainly paying for the time you lived in the premises. no one can reliably answer where you stand legally without being privy to the contract you agreed to. If you didn’t know what you were signing at the time that’s unfortunate- at least find out what it says now. Plenty of bilingual people around . In my experience sometimes you rightfully get back your security deposit, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes you get a (lame) reason, sometimes you’re just ghosted until you give up. Not right or fair but Is what it is….

Goodness, what a hostile group you have here. I thank the two kind people who gave me some pointers on activities via private message, and am sad for your group that the environment is so toxic that they both noted not feeling comfortable replying to me publicly. I have turned off replies and will not be returning to this place. You all enjoy your retirement.

It strikes me that parental leave is of benefit to your children having your undivided attention as parents.
