Carnivore
We've heard a few people say that this restaurant is now totally different and Juan (a very popular waiter, formerly of Casa Del Sol & Gossips) is the owner/operator. Does anyone have any comments/reviews about the restaurant and, what is the name of the restaurant. Sincere thanks.
mexbound
Do you mean "in the original Blue Rose" instead of Blue Moon? The restaurant is now called "La Fiesta". But be aware it is probably moving in a couple of weeks to a new location.
jrod
Juan is the manager of La Fiesta, which is moving from its current location (and Blue Rose Bistro's original home) on the carretera to its expanded new digs in the old Don Pedro space next to the French Bakery and across the street from the Brew House on the carretera in West Ajijic, just west of the Panteón. Based on a conversation several days ago, I believe Angela, who owns Blue Rose and La Fiesta, is still on track for a soft opening coming up the first week of October. Angela has a post on the facebook restaurant page under Blue Rose Bistro/La Fiesta Restaurant. It's going to be a lovely new spot.
tomgates
They might actually pay the rent to owner as opposed to Don Pedro squatting all those years. 1
RickS
So did La Fiesta open up at the new location next to the French Bakery? Any reviews?
HarryB
We waited over an hour for our food and when we threatened to leave it quickly appeared , all crusty and dried out from a heat lamp.
BenjiBoy
When I went, it was somewhat crowded, but the waiters seemed untrained and confused....I admit I left and never had anything on the menu. It was so "blah" that I will not go back. Fred Habacht
Usvetsinmexico
Me and wife had a great experience. Staff were great and attentive. Food was the best TX mex in town. Mix drinks were very good. And it is always busy so I would bet im not the only person who feels this way.
daisy2013
We had fabulous food and service. Great place Will return often. Could of been a new waitstaff Went to their old location often and will go here often also. Not every restaurant is for everyone as we know which is why there are many to chose from. No problem
mexijims1
Sometimes when a new place opens, you don't get great food or service. Might still be worth others to try as time goes by and hopefully they get organized.
rckrckr
Have eaten there several times. The atmosphere can be quite noisy, but no complaints about service. Very good Mexican-American food, for those occasionally missing that from NOB. Delivery can be had via Traitte.
