Their salmon and steaks are really good; the sandwich offerings are a nice option for smaller portions but the tapas, IMO, aren't a reason to go. The owners are delightful and accommodating and the garden setting is very pretty. Limited parking in front of the restaurant.

Another vote for their Thai salmon, AND the owners.

Which I am not going to bother with if I have no idea where the restaurant is and if it is anywhere close to me.

In all respect.....

took you longer to write the reply than it would have taken to look up the restaurant, see reviews, and even pictures of the place and food.

I repeat. IF you are posting to help the business, and it is relevant to the post, include a location. It doesn't have to be specific, even a general location like "west Ajijic" gives the reader enough information to know if they are even interested in learning more. If you are recommending a medical person, include a phone number if you have it. IF you are simply posting to show off how much you know, don't bother.

Just for the record dear, I started using Google in 1998 when I learned about it on a Web writers group. We'd all been using Northern Light and Search Monkey before that.

It's a matter of wasting other people's time.

Agree. Why  waste your own time when someone else can waste their time doing your responsibility !

My wife and I went to Casa TreeSkel (at  Carretera poniente 998, Ajijic, Mexico, phone # 33 3488 4136, on the lakeside a little west of the recycling center) recently and had a selection of tapas along with a cheeseboard and a bottle of wine.  The service and quality of the food were both topnotch and there were no mosquitos this time of the year.  We've added it to our list of favorite restaurants.

Thanks for an excellent post.  I hope others will follow your example!
