I have had CETES 28 day term for years. What this type of investment really does is to somewhat offset inflation.

On July first, you will all go hungry and you will be homeless after the government seizes your property for non compliance. π -
Yes, I also have the BBVA apps and I do not get any adds. Its very secure for online purchase as it gives you a CCV number which is only valid for 5 minutes (it also gives you a different debit card number). You may want to talk to someone within the BBVA bank in Ajijic. I use the one in Chapala and they are not always the most helpful.

Governor announces no emissions fines for now
HoneyBee replied to Mostlylost's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Personally, I have no problem with this inspection other then it should be maybe every 3 years not every year (that is a scam). For me the real scam is the auto industry only wanting to sell you a new car with a 6 year credit term and at 17 %. (it took me almost a month to buy a car cash with the help of S&S). I would have a little more faith in the government if they passed a law capping the interest rate at say no more then 6 % plus inflation adjustments. -
Many thanks for this information. Last year I had a camera system installed for my building (five cameras total). It was a disaster and I ended up paying 20,000 Pesos. I will definitively ask him for help once I have a budget available. The guys that did the work have a flight by night operation so I have no name to give. (it was friends of a friend....π).

I wish them good luck because as a starter it would mean having to take millions of clunkers off the road. In addition for many Mexicans the only alternative is to buy a new car on credit with a 6 year term at 17 % . (if the economy ever tanks, there will be a lot of somewhat news cars for sale....π). -

Its going to get confusing. A month ago a bought a new car, they wanted my RFC so gave it to them, yet they said it was not correct and then used "another" one. I checked the government website using my CURP number and the RFC I originally gave them is correct. BBVA has the same number as I have investments with them. Once the dust settles and if this is still a mess, well not that I want to but I would get Spencer's office involved. -
Actually, at some point, someone will be left without a chair.π

Well given the way the old man is giving out a billion here and a billion there its not surprising that the dollar will collapse at some point.
-
So you hung out at a store for several hours each time to check the cooling temperature ? me think the problem is elsewhere π
-
That is correct. I have investments with BBVA so I checked the government's website using my CURP and the RFC number BBVA assigned to me is correct.

As a minimum they should at least test your eye sight (a helped 2 bricklayers working for me get their drivers license, before getting it one told me that the vision for one of his eyes was completely blurry. Dr Pinto, yes he was back fixed the problem )

Orizaba is on my list to visit. I keep on putting off the drive because its more then a one day drive which makes it difficult with my golden retriever. There is a pet friendly hotel in town so I would be set once arrived. Also, I have been checking real estate prices in the area but they seem quite high, maybe because the town is somewhat close to Mexico city. In any event if you do visit, please send me some feedback. -

The Annual Guess Start of The Rainy Season
HoneyBee replied to Mainecoons's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
June 18. (By the way this area does have 4 seasons. They are cold, hot, rainy and great.) -
It actually happened a few blocks from where I live (across from the casino blanco). This one was reported because it happened during the day, but sadly it happens much more often then I care to mention. Couple of weeks ago several CNJ trucks where parked about 2 blocks from my home. This was at night and they where stopping all the kids on motorcycles. π
