There were 131,632 active cases as of Sunday, according to Health Ministry estimates, down from a record high of 137,777 on Saturday. Estimated active cases exceeded 100,000 at the height of the second and worst wave of the pandemic in late 2020 and early 2021 but didn’t rise as high as their current level. They rose 16% over the week to Sunday

HELP! Please help save my life.... UNGENT.
Jim Bowie replied to AngusMactavish's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
NO vaccine protects anyone from getting it, not covid nor the Flu. -
And, where are those facilities located and how many states both in Mexico and NOB use them? Just a plain PCR test will not distinguish the difference. Much more elaborate/expensive testing has to be done. Below is from YOUR Source, not mine: " But can the actual COVID tests on the market detect the Delta variant? To put it simply: not always. While the Delta variant (otherwise known as B.1.617.2) may be the pathogenic offspring of the novel coronavirus, it carries distinctive biological markers that some among the dozens of commercially available COVID tests from academic institutes and medical giants may not be able to sense. An initial COVID test would then have to receive additional screening that involves more intricate genomic sequencing of a patient’s sample in order to home in on whether or not it’s a Delta variant case, and that process is reliant on a mishmash of private, state, and federal laboratories that are carrying out the screening, "

Caution: A New Variant will be discovered Every time people stop being afraid. (Mark my words)

More diversion when you are faced with the truth and have no valid response.

No 2 people react the same to covid. So, your point is ? You have not forgotten that none of the shots give 100% protection, have you?

According to Mexican regulations, 25% of gasoline content should be aromatics – mixtures of chemicals such as benzene, toluene and xylene – but gas supplied to Pemex stations in Guadalajara from the state oil company’s refinery in Salamanca, Guanajuato, is up to 35% aromatics, according to a report by the newspaper El Universal.

Reputable Source for B12 Injections
Jim Bowie replied to Karina G's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
I strongly advise checking the actual vial/box the B-12 comes in, as I tried several pharmacies a few years ago and they were giving B-6 and calling it B12. Fortunately, I read things before I take them. YMMD, but this is Mexico. -
Why would anyone go to a doctor for anything if you can't trust what they tell you.?
-
As much as this concept has been discussed here on this Board, I am really surprised there are still people that are not aware of the process or do not understand it. Go figure !
-
Good move.
-
Why would you pay that??? I pay zero fees, as most people lakeside do. If you pay those fees, either you have money to throw away, or you have not done your homework before coming here.

Looks like a possible cheese "knockoff" or counterfeit cheese. Looks very similar, but it might not be the real thingy ! I doubt the real one would have a "typo".

Lake Chapala Gains Status as Sport Fishing Venue
Jim Bowie replied to Aquaponicsman's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Safe to one person is not always the same to another. A LOT depends on your Common Sense. Lots of new people coming to Mexico don't have any. -
He is playing with you. You are wasting your time with him.
-
You make every effort to make this simple process extremely difficult. Just do what Mostly tells you and don't be such a cry baby. Just follow what he says to the letter. GEEZ, Louise !!!

We like the Chapala American Legion for breakfast.
-
Mr. Google is your best friend to answer that. Just sayin' !
-
That is right. Notice it does NOT say it is in their house and has comida casera a HOME cooked meal. In Chapala, the 2 that come quickly to mind in the Plaza are "La Fonda" and "Jose's Place". Both are Fondas, but they are not in their houses, nor is the meal cooked in their house (a home cooked meal). Get it yet? (food cooked in their house)

My wife, Mexican, says they are restaurants that serve Comide Casera. Just a restaurant that serves a home cooked meal.
