  1. I have a great large solid one I will sell from Canada for 5,000. Pesos. Like new. Pm me if interested.
  2. Lots of screaming sirens coming into town passing Haciendas into town. Something is up..just an fyi.
  3. We have a similar issue. Call the ministry of environment..they are the ones who deal with this issue. We cure have cases in front of them.....sorry I don't have the phone number for you.
  4. Will you all STOP it. Start acting like grown ups, stop the nonsense. Slavery days are gone, none of us have maids. We employ our gracious Mexican women to work for us and they should all be treated as equals. I cannot believe the ignorance of so many here. Shame on you.
  5. Totally agree. We pay 70 per hour for maid and gardener. A raise for coming to work? Not at my house. We do alot over and above for our staff.....nobody ever gave me all kinds of perks just for doing my job. I feel we pay very fairly.
  6. Thank you Mainecoon. And so it begins..... arghhh
  7. Our lady came back two weeks ago. She arrives, sanitised her hands, wears a mask. No gloves unless she wishes when working with cleansers and disinfectants. We are outside while she cleans and when she leaves I turn all the ceiling fans on high for a bit. I am so happy to have her back. Data also now shows that it is unlikely to catch the virus from surfaces if you are careful. Our lady never takes the bus, stays home most of the time, only works for us. We are very lucky to have her and help her with a bag of weekly staples...
  8. Edited by Moderator, WAY too personal. These kinds of communications should be by PM or not at all!
  9. Poured in Haciendas and crazybwind, power outages...
  10. Time to stay in now folks... more visiting in Super Lake parking lot!!
  11. Bigger things to worry about right now! Honestly....
  12. So typical, Wonderful Mexican hospitality.....we are lucky to live in this place....
  13. Homes are full of dogs that have already been dumped by people who cannot afford to care for their pets anymore due to the current situation. All the shelters are overflowing....please take your pet with you , we are overwhelmed here with the need.......so few options. Your pet, your responsibility, your duty. Sorry but that is simply how it is just now...
  14. Fantastic news!! The local and state government is doing an excellent job trying to keep us safe. Let's all do our part and continue to stay home, wear masks when out, and keep the distance. Will be nice to support our local restaurants again !!!
  15. Brian is excellent, been using his services for many years. A friendly, knowledgeable guy.. Lucky to have him....
  16. After all this time, I am bringing my maid back in starting tomorrow. She will wear a mask and gloves, and I am only having her do the floors inside and on terrazza. She walks here and never rides the bus. I will be happy to see her tomorrow... Gardener works 3 days a week, masked when near our sitting areas, we have been doing all the watering as not to touch any of the same surfaces. When he leaves we simply wipe down the gate. Even though the restrictions will be lifted somewhat, we will be staying home unless necessary and enjoying the summer rains from our lovely spit here in Paradise. Be smart, stay safe and please let's show respect for the friends and neighbors here that are at the greatest risk.
  17. For my maid. If u have one for sale, reasonably priced in good condition, please pm me with details and info. Want to buy her this so she doesn't have to rely on the bus during these difficult times.. Thanks
  18. A Fantastic idea, thank you for doing this. Again, I am so greatful to live here amongst such wonderful caring people. Good job!!
  19. Loud and continual all morning.. 6 weeks till our beautiful rains begin Something to look forward to. I love living here....😁⛈️
