Lexy
This question, I realize, could get me all kinds of answers. But I might be out of touch on this subject, so I'll ask: What is the going rate for a gardener? There is a small grassy area alongside my rental house and driveway. Grass needs mowing and tall bushy beautiful bushes need occasional trimming. One large curbside ficus also needs occasional trimming. My long-time, recently departed gardener spread the work out, incluing watering, to three hours a week, every week. This is uncomplicated gardening. What is fair hourly payment? ibarra
We pay a flat fee of $300 pesos every other week. Sometimes they are here a half an hour, sometimes over an hour. Usually two or three workers at a time. They have their own equipment. Always $300.
Natasha
Lexy I think your question isn't really a fair one. Each garden has its own size, needs, etc.so replies above could be like comparing apples to pomegranates to yellow turnips and so on..... Why don't you ask nearby neighbors in YOUR 'hood with similar garden needs to yours?

If he does, does ihe price include the helper?

I described what needed to be done--nothing special--just in case price was sometimes determined that way. In fact, on my street some homes haven't a blade of grass in sight, just concrete patio/parking areas and potted plants. Other homes have gardens 10 times larger than mine. Now that's apples and turnips 😁 Lexy 4 hours ago, Natasha said:
