  1. Where would I find them at Walmart by the olives or canned tomato products?
  2. Canned will be fine.
  3. Where to buy lakeside.
  4. We had 2 inches last night and this morning.
  5. Thank you. I know Jaime. Very reputable. I didn’t know if he did screen enclosures or not. I know he does glass work.
  6. Recommendation for contractor to install a sturdy screen enclosure for a large patio. Name and contact information please.
  7. ML has rejected our US CC. Won’t take our US card so we would have to go to Oxxo and pay. Haven’t done that yet. Amazon Mx gladly accepts US credit cards but my experience ML won’t.
  8. Yes. Brad Grieve well know for professional inspections.
  9. Brad Grieve professional home inspector Contact Information Telephone & Facsimile (as dialed from the USA or Canada) 011 52 (376) 766-2836 Postal address Carr. #33A (Above Banco Multiva) Ajijic, Jalisco 45920 Mexico Electronic mail General Information: info@inspec-mx.com Webmaster: webmaster@inspec-mx.com
  10. My Weber gas grill is hooked to my big propane tank but the line runs under ground from the big tank. We had that done when we built the house.
  11. We have a T-Mobile plan just so we can get US text verification codes from bank and other venues. They won’t call email or text a Mx #. We have unlimited calls wifi text and 5 gb data. However TM said if we didn’t use the phone in the US once every 3 months our number would be canceled. The plan is 45US. But for 5 more US a month we can use the phone indefinitely in Mx and not have the number canceled. Total 48US. We looked into the 3US a month plan but it didn’t give us what we needed. It is what it is with US only texting a US phone for a verification code. A pain.
  12. Don at Kind of Bazaar and Kind of Not just west of Riberas Pemex and Huerta cafe lakeside. Sharpens knives razor sharp and has watch batteries. If I had a nice watch I would take it to him T-W-Th. You will get a good quality battery.
  13. It’s great he comes to Quality Care to help at lakeside.
  14. We have had good luck with Los Altos and Z gas. Never a problem with starting the meter at 00 and filling to our % request.
  15. Floradude: where do you find your orchid growing containers/and wood slated square baskets and media they need to grow in.
  16. I think he can sharpen anything. Possibly scissors also.
  17. I posted about Don on Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara site. Didn’t think about posting it here but if you need knives razor sharp Don is your man. See my post on A/C/G site.
  18. I never knew vandas would grow in trees. We always had to grow them in wood slated box baskets with a media they grew well in.
  19. I forgot to mention Don also sharpens serrated and ceramic knives.
  20. Oh good to know about the batteries. The Bazaar has their own parking spaces but sometimes full. They have lovely things on consignment. Good quality not junk.
  21. Vandas don’t grow in trees. Bromeliads stag horn ferns and some species grow in trees and wild orchids.
  22. Fiber optic is free from TelMex if they can run the line to your area. Not much faster but not as much outage.
  23. He gets them illegally from the trees in the mountains. Please stay away. The species are protected.
  24. We have had several dull knives sharpened by Don that would not cut butter. He sharpened them razor sharp. He comes to Kind of Bazaar and Kind of Not T-W-Th every week Riberas. If your kitchen knives are dull give Don a try. Very reasonable. Excellent.
  25. What particular services are you looking for? Garden? Irrigation? And service? or garden irrigation service?
