I'm sure that the Costco NZ lamb is what it says, but...... a few years ago I wanted to buy some NZ lamb from a well known Canadian supermarket - grocery store. On looking at the label carefully, it was New Zealand Spring Lamb -imported by the New Zealand Spring Lamb Company. It really didn't say where it was imported from. Maybe New Zealand? I bought it anyway and it tasted just fine.
