Ferret
Please! I best serve as an example of what not to do in life so here's my story. For the last few days, I have been feeling dizzy and lightheaded with the expectation of falling over at any time. Finally figured out that I was dehydrated. Duh! Drinking 1 liter of water over the course of a couple of hours did the trick and served as a reminder. This weather is both hot and dry so it's important to hydrate more than ever. And my pulse also dropped so if you're checking your BP regularly and notice your pulse creeping up, pay attention!
Floradude
Ferret, when you are totally depleted like that you should also consider taking an electrolyte solution. Thanks for the reminder.
vetteforron
Good advice. Where I live I try to drink almost 1 1/2 to 2 liters daily. I also mix about 50-50 with electrolyte. I remember as a young person feeling dizzy then blurred vision then goodnight. Don't forget yours dogs and cats.

Natasha
Ferret I'm ashamed of you!!! Of all people you knew better!!!! I'm at minimum 1.75 L per day right now after 1 cup coffee and one of ginger tea with breakfast. And a reminder to all..... gulping down in one fell swoop ( per glass) is NOT how you do it. Sip.....sip......sip at room temp boring but is what any doctor will tell you
