  4. Do you have a free Decibel app on your cell phone? Did you measure the sound level? Can you show a date and time of the level with a foto? If not it didn't happen! Only documented facts MIGHT get the municipality to do something!!!!!!!!
  5. Rather than suing go to Profeco. A lawyer will suck you dry with delays and assurances. You can file a complaint on line ,but, will have to go to Guad for a hearing. Best to hire a translator who knows Guad. It is hard to find. Profeco is VERY consumer oriented. Be very sure as to what you want in settlement and stand your ground.

  13. Jubilacion, that's the beauty of Mexico. You never know what is going to happen. The next person may get a rep who didn't sleep , had a hangover or fought with the spouse and got rejected! Viva Mexico!

  16. After 20 years and working for the last 4 administrations ,two things impress politicians, money and embarrassment. If you want to get their attention you have to use one or both of these. The current administration, increasingly, is ignoring the expat community as it focuses on re election. More expats need citizenship so they can vote. To my knowledge, none of the most vocal commentators on this board and others have citizenship and can vote. If you want to be paid attention to, be able to vote and tell the politicos that you will vote!
  17. While in college I met a wealthy international meat importer. He said in Australia they have beaters go through the bush and whatever comes out goes in the brine to make corned beef. Obviously, I never forgot that statement.
