  1. Do you really believe that-jaja! When the now sterile Chapala Plaza was in the throes of being done including the removal of one whole plant and tree garden out front to make a mostly open space that's hardly ever used for anything, and all of a sudden the midnight tree removal happened, it was announced after the fact, that those needed to be replace by a less destructive tree. Looks like that may or may not happen in the next century. It's been a while already sorta like the trees Walmart promised to plant
  2. Yes and I posted it as a disappointed resident of Chapala not Ajijic because I don't live there and hardly ever even go there Haven't seen the Ajijic plaza in about 7 years at least.
  3. Get with the programme,we are talking gas stations for vehicles not propane for the house.-SNORK!
  4. Ragtop man quoted from chillin, gave you Chava's/Salvador's of Katya, cell #. in a post above. Not your Salvador and bro.
  5. I always tip 5-10 pesos to attendants and you are all right about that wonderful attendant in Riberas.
  6. If you know him well he goes by "Chava" which is the nick name for "Salvador". He delivers on time and takes two garrafons directly into our kitchen picking up the empties and placing one of the full ones in our wire holder.
  7. Yes, it ain't what it once was. Even took out a row of shade trees in the middle of the night.
  8. I haven't looked lately but the hardware store next to me did have them in all sizes last time I did look.
  9. Here we go again-eh! A list of countries that only made crappy everything certain people thought that "that goes for anything" as you say, lovesdawgs. in order of dissing from first to present. Japan,Korea,Tiawan.Interesting that they are all oriental countries-eh!. I suggest that you throw away almost everything you've got, lovesdawgs, because everything in your household at present consists of a whole Chinese thing or parts in all the rest of what you think has nothing Chinese in it/them. I could fill several pages of things to avoid that horrible Chinese stough. Sell your car too.
  10. It ain't no shock to me anymore. In a past life I made a living as a marketing and communications consultant and had plenty of experience in the way things are done in the US,Canada and Europe. Mexican marketing strategies are similar to what ended there in the 50's but it never ceases to amaze me what these Mexican companies do in that time warp.-SNORK!
  11. But some people have a penchant for making life more difficult for themselves than it needs to be.
  12. What's available and prices here is the only thing that's relevant and anything else is meaningless drivel. That's what the OP, andypanda has asked-eh! Turkeys are indigenous to Mexico and I think that there is somewhat of a marketing of Mexican raised turkey infrastructure in place as well as imports.
  13. Jeez, why didn't you say so in the beginning. If they're trying to sell the place chips ahoy.
  14. Highly unlikely that you'll reach them by phone. Going there is your only option.
  15. If you don't look you won't see it. A few pipes here and there aren't bothering us who own and live in the place and we're not out to impress anyone else.
  16. Inside the house on the surface. The walls will all be painted white and the pipes were placed mainly in corners ,high up or down low. Some were inside cupboards on the back walls. Been in 1 week now and no more musty smell in our kitchen cupboards, high ones and low ones. Moisture inside walls will candle up.
  17. We just had ours done and since we had planned on having the whole interior painted anyway the majority of the new PVC pipes are outside the walls.
  18. Czech chicas doing a lively US country ditty with gusto are not tacky like some mysoginistic posters-eh gary, randy, sculptari, chillin!
