Update. We went to Tepetate today for lunch. It was fantastic. I had Sweet and sour chicken and my husband had what they simply call Yellow Curry. Large portions, great presentation and wonderful service. We will return.

I would not call the number. I would, however, contact your bank and tell them not to approve any charges from questionable company.

Here are a couple sites that I found, I have not read them thoroughly. Perhaps some of the information will help with your question. IMHO It may be beneficial to contact a property management company and ask them. https://yunglava.com/mexican-property-rental-laws-and-regulations/ https://www.mondaq.com/mexico/landlord--tenant---leases/1392244/rent-increase-clauses-in-mexico-real-estate-lease-agreements

Information wanted on how to donate ones body to University

IMO I would go to your mailbox and, if you have a lot of old mail, delete it. Your mailbox may be full not allowing you to receive new messages. -
Information wanted on how to donate ones body to University
ibarra replied to Pelican9's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
I have tried to send you messages and receive notice that "Pelican9 can't receive messages". Why? We are interested in finding out if you have received any information on how to actually accomplish body donation as a U.S. citizen living in MX. Please reply. -
My post is for information purposes, not necessarily as a recommendation.

Dog Groomer Home Appointment
ibarra replied to stuphel's topic in Let's Talk About our Furry and Feathered Friends
FYI. They will come to your home or they will come out to your car and trim toenails in the car. -
There is a new small Mirage store in the building where GDL Farmacia used to be on the carretera between Chapala and Ajijic.

New lateral road was closed to traffic this morning.

Sorry. That is what I found from a search. Perhaps ask a real estate company for the information.

I know I would want to make sure I had absolutely everything in order with MX BEFORE I gave up other country citizenship. -
Dog Groomer Home Appointment
ibarra replied to stuphel's topic in Let's Talk About our Furry and Feathered Friends
Does anyone have current information for a groomer that will come to our home and cut toenails of an elderly dog? -
FYI The thread regarding Manix being closed is in La Cocina, not this forum. It includes the recent information from GDL Reporter about the new location. How about a compromise? Put your original post in La Cocina also. Here's proof: Manix restaurant closing end of year By ibarra June 16, 2023 in La Cocina

Again, that's why I suggested he speak with a MX attorney. -
US ATTORNEY FOR CITIZENSHIP RENUNCIATION
ibarra replied to Jim R's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
The reason I posted information for Alvaro Becerra was to make sure he DOES have citizenship in MX. Jim R must have citizenship somewhere before giving it up somewhere else. Since Jim R is posting on this forum I imagine he has or should have citizenship here. https://1040abroad.com/faq/renouncing-u-s-citizenship/ "In order to renounce your U.S. citizenship, you need to have a second passport (citizenship of another country). You will be required to bring this with you to the renunciation appointment. The State Department will deny anyone the right to renounce their U.S. citizenship if they do not have a second passport." -
