    To Ferret: Thanks for answering. Yes, I know prescriptions are only necessary for antibiotics but that is what I will need. Artsnob gave an answer re/ drs. in pharmacies.

    Thanks, art snob. I had seen photos in the window but never could see where they could be. It is antibiotics that I need but I'm too ill to even make it to the lab so I'm sending samples in with a friend but know it will take some time plus a dr. office visit would be extra hours. Guad. Pharmacy will work fine. Thanks. Do you think it will work if I just send the lab results in with someone else or will I need to go in person? Questions, questions;

    I need to send a book to a friend in La Manzanilla and would appreciate it if anyone going to La Manzanilla from Lakeside would carry it there for me. It would save her from the hassle of driving to Melaque to get it at the post office. I live in the Raquet Club but would bring it to you. Thanks

    Also dozens of power outages in the Raquet Club, including street lights.. Off and on for an hour or so.

    My neighbors were afraid my very tall palm trees were going to blow over and I kept hearing things blowing or thumping over my roof. Not tiles, but sort of like a giant walking over my roof. My cushions were blown all over my yard and things were blown over in my garage.At times it felt like they were near-hurricane strength winds and they seemed to shift direction almost like a large whirlwind. Yes. We certainly did notice them in the Raquet Club.

    Yes. It is fully operational. They serve in the covered outside area of the restaurant--to the east of the older part of the restaurant--and have larger spacing between the tables. They are closed on Thursday.

    What in the world are all the fireworks for---on May 1, I understand, but they went off all day May2 and have been going off on May 3--at first around midnight, then started up again at 3 a.m. What is the occasion? I live in San Juan Cosala but I can hear them going off farther away as well.

    I am about at wit's end.  Two weeks without wifi, I have called tech help twice, been to Telmex and still no one has come to fix my line.  Tonight I've been on the phone for one hour trying to get tech help and every time they disconnect me, even though I asked the tech help in Spanish to stay on the line until I'm connected to the English tech help.  Do you know anyone who could check my line?  One techie said it was probably in the logic board... but don't know where that is.  I do know for the past two years it has gone off and on whenever there is wind or rain, but this time it is off for good, even when no wind or rain.  The problem is not in my computer as I've been using my phone hotspot as a router and the computer (a Mac) connects to it, but it is getting expensive!!! I went and got a new modem but it only shows power light and the SPS/WLAN lights.  Rest  of the lights are off. I leave in two days and want to get this up for my house sitters.  Desperate in the Raquet Club!!!  Any advice? Is there anything you could do if it is in the line or do you know someone other than Telmex capable of checking this out?  Time is running out.  Thanks.
