kmetzger
Over a year ago, during construction of the periferico, the on-ramp to take the periferico west was blocked off. The last time I drove into Guadalajara and wanted to head west on the periferico, I had to keep driving straight ahead for four or five miles and turn around. Is there a better way now? ednet94
If I'm not wrong, you now take the ramp to the east which now get you to periférico where they made a crossing with lights to go to the left (west).
kmetzger
Thanks, ednet. I'll give that a try tomorrow.
sm1mex
Is that ramp coming from Chapala to get on the periferico still blocked off?
Floradude
The old ramp heading south as of last week was still blocked.

Out1
Headed north into Guad take the ramp on the right just before you get to the Periferico and then keep left. There are some stop lights; turn left and you are on the Periferico headed west.
sm1mex
Is the ramp that takes you north towards Zapopan open.

Use Google maps in either case you don't understand completely. Mainecoons
Let us hope this is some sort of temporary fix during construction. It explains why the right lane going north is backing up badly. Stay in the far left as you approach the Periferico coming from the south.
cricket
The ramp was open Friday. Went the "new" way as have been, motorcycle came around the corner as merged into right lane after turn at traffic light. With ramp being closed for so long was surprised. Checked as we made the loop, it was open. Also all of the signs notifying that the ramp is closed and to take "new" exit are gone.
