RI2
Anyone know where to find gasoline in the Ajijic area now...almost 4:30pm Saturday?
DeborahM
I gassed up at Pemex 1 km east of the main traffic light in Jocotepec this morning...long lines, but premium and diesel still available.
RI2
Thank you...but I'm trying to find an open station now.
cedros
It changes as the day goes on. Wouldn't it be nice to have the phone number of all the gas stations so you could phone them and ask or better yet if Pemex had a website that gave that information. Pemex is so user unfriendly.
jrod
Pemex does indeed have an app to locate stations. Download it to your phone and it will locate the closest green, red or diesel. Haven't personally checked its accuracy, tho.

Alpha1
Red arrow shows 7/11, over half a kilometer long! Same in 3 directions...1.5 km. @1 pm today.
John Shrall
Yesterday afternoon in Guadalajara along the periferico the lines stretched well over a mile at every station that had some gas. Hundreds of cars in each line. Tow trucks were visible probably for those cars that ran out of gas while waiting. One can only imagine the lines in DF. This seems to be a good example of the law of unintended consequences.
RI2
Yikes! Thanks all. This doesn't look or sound promising.
