El Saltos
I need pics for my Residente Permanente. I know about the photographer in Chapala. Is there one in Ajijic? Someone said there's one on Ocampo near Colon. Anyone know?

Travis
Yep. About 3 doors west of where the "Early Bird" restaurant used to be, same side of street. The blew me out with so much lighting the photo hardly looks like me. It's perfect.
Irish Gal
I had my photos done there. Quick service too. The lady at Immigration was impressed with the quality.
adafromhavana
They charge a lot. I forget how much but I remember I was shocked. About four time the price I've paid in other places like Guadalajara pharmacy or Chapala.I got the Gringo price. Even though I'm not a gringa. Travis
They charged me $100 MXN also...but that was about a year and a half ago.
Mainecoons
That's roughly $8 for photos that won't be rejected. Hardly a huge sum. That's where we go for visa/passport photos and we've never had a problem with them being accepted.
ComputerGuy
It may only seem like a high price if you've always used a photo machine at the farmacia. A full photo studio with proper lighting and quality gear only offers these kinds of photos as a service, kind of like a daily bread-and-butter situation, since there's really no money in it unless you do six an hour, all day every day. I think it's pretty inexpensive.
afgh
This coming Wed. at LCS Lus will be there to do passport photos and any others that you want done. She only charges 50 pesos. and does a great job. Ask for her special which removes about ten years from the photo. Skip

Intercasa
Immigration has been complaining about instant photos so be aware that there can be issues when you get photos on the spot.
