Eric Blair
I never thought about this but now I am going to get a new mattress and not sure if there is a market for a cleaned mattress with no stains or anything bad. Thanks
Mainecoons
There's a market for anything around here. Best bet is the Facebook page Beg Barter Buy Chapala or Lake Chapala classified. A used matrimonial is probably not worth much. Local orphanages are always looking for donations of things like this. 1
Jreboll
I usually give mine away. Anyone who has money for a used one would rather buy a cheaper new one
NEWMtnMama
Donate it to Tepehua Treasures in Riberas. They will find it a good home.

luvsdawgs
There is a new post on FB showing a desperate need out east. "Ojo de Agua Mattresses are needed in the small village of Ojo de Agua, located less than 20 km beyond Chapala and before Mezcala. This small village along the lake has been, shall we say, adopted by the Chapala Rotary Club. After visiting some of the homes, it is quite clear that this community could benefit greatly from new or used mattresses in good condition. (I think in most cases, a king size may be too big). If you or someone you know, is replacing a mattress, please contact me. 331-354-1558 We are also looking for anyone that might have a truck that could help deliver mattresses when we have a few collected."
