bob k
There is a new food stand across from Donas Donuts on the mountain side that serves Oaxacan style food including Tlayudas. They are there every day except Thursday from noon to 8 pm. Tlayudas are 80 pesos with ;your choice of beef, adobada pork, or chorizo. On the weekends they have Oaxacan style tamales. A very nice couple runs this street food style stand.
desertdave
What's the difference between a Tlayuda and a large Tostata?
ComputerGuy
Just watched a video on the making of the tortillas. This is a lot of work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVMdzNd9MMY&feature=related
El Cartero
I believe a tlayuda is baked or roasted over a frill whereas a tostado is fried. I 'll pass if these are the Oaxacan ones with roasted grasshoppers on top!
