Too had/has a house west of town. Neither of which I am mobile enough to confirm. I believe he has or is associated with design, be it architectural or interior. In advance, thanks to all. The last I heard, which was a few years ago, he had moved to McAllen, TX, which was where his wife worked. Please post back here with any information that you find.
