As an outside, I just wanted to say that I have no idea who HarryB is, but after reading a number of his posts in the last month or so, it sounds like you folks have a real jewel in your midst. HarryB Posted October 5, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 5, 2015 Again, the complaints are about Transito. I am working with the Chapala police. I am assuming that Transito has their own lockup and you are not talking about the regular municipal police. Regardless, I will inspect the cells at the Chapala police station with the new chief tomorrow and findout if expats are being taken there. I will try to negotiate preferential treatment for accident cases where no other charges are pending.
