Tomas
The note on the Lake Chapala Weather link says that they are taking down their rain gauge for the year...My question is why??? It provides relevant info and is very informative and well run. I realize that it privately run but is very much appreciated..Please keep the rain gauge active so we will have an accurate of lakeside precipitation... johanson
I hope that this message was just a joke. Because as you can see on the previous years their were a couple year 2008 when we hit 35 + inches and 2010 when we got 42 + plus inches. Somewhere on the webpage is the weather page email address. Once I find it later today, I will post it. I sure hope Max the cat will ensure Steve doesn't turn off the rain gauge.

lcscats
Steve and Max are in Texas now. Another local has taken it over for us. Beware rain gauges are known for failing and being incorrect. You can see a note from Steve and Max from the weather site. He has a new setup in Texas and a new weather site. bradshoe
Although Steve and Max are in Texas they plan to return. Steve still monitors the website and has total control of it's look and information. The equipment used for reporting current conditions are identical to the weather station Steve had in place only a few blocks from where it sits now. giltner68
On the weather page is a link to a page named "Twosites" comparing the two stations, this next week two cold fronts are forecast to push deep into Texas, the comparison will show how lucky you are to be in Mexico.
