  1. He moved 2/3 doors East several years ago. Drag your surly ### out and have a look. He does a great job. Not a Doctor but does a great job on many peoples feet.
  2. Magnolia's is on the corner, 2-3 doors East. towards the traffic light, is the foot Dr..Been there for years.
  3. There is an excellent podiatrist just as you are entering Chapala, on the right hand side just prior to the main intersection and just past Spencers office..
  4. They bill your insurance USA medical service prices... best to seek treatment elsewhere. Their billing is total bullshit.
  5. This is what we do with newbies: Take them to the Beer Garden, a time-honored restaurant - been around almost 100 years - hard to believe. Order beer, sangria, limonada, a paloma, or water. Don't order the margaritas - remember this is a Mexican restaurant. Order the guacamole prepared table side. You get to make your own guac by directing your server: how much onion, how much tomato, how much salt, how much hot. It's interactive and fun. You can let your guests do this, but you can offer guidance. Then order queso fundido (fondue), one with chorizo, one without. Then order a side of refried frijoles. Then keep the chips coming. This is more than enough to eat, and everyone leaves happy. In the meantime, you have the wonderful view, the people watching, and the total Mexican ambience/experience. Your guests won't be disappointed.
  6. That is why we keep our "Med-Jet" policies and U.S. insurance up to date. $24,000 US is higher that most USA hospitals for a stent..No way to justify that bill, pure greed. Stay away from San Javier as they are known for their vast overcharging.
  7. La Pueblita is the one I am asking about..What is the status?
  8. Mountain Side..Multiple housing types to include assisted living, etc. Close to S.J. Cosala. They were at issue with water and sewage issues.
  9. Have not heard anything regarding the exclusive development West of Ajijic..Any News
  10. Several of us just took one of the rental boats at the Chapala pier across the lake to S.L. Soyatlan and the town to the East. No docking facilities and the boatman had never been to either place by boat. ( He was asking us for directions). There was a concrete pier at S.L.Soy. adjacent to town. We walked around and had lunch and then returned to Chapala. Nice day on the lake but nothing special in S.L Soy. If there are wineries would like directions. Boat trip,MUCH QUICKER than the drive and a pleasant day on the lake.
  11. I had Total Play installed just over a week ago. Works great (100MB). Have my fire stick hooked up and great viewing. I kept my TelMex lines, will wait and see if I will keep them, Happy with Total Play.(Sweet)
  12. I thought the admission fee was based on their : Silver, Gold or Platinum buy-in. Other than huge differences in upfront cost I do not know what one receives for the price differential. They ranged between $10 US and $100K. Please correct me if I am mistaken.
  13. My guess it will be several years based on the number of auto's, trucks, etc. Even with double the number of emission stations, 2-3 years. Not much different than their vaccine success.
  14. Does the word "circulate" mean daily, weekly, monthly, etc. There are currently only 2 places in Guad to receive the inspection and you need an appointment. It will eventually move southward but I do not see an issue until next year and then when they have additional inspection stations around Lakeside.
  15. At the rear of the Barber Shop adjacent to the Municipal Building on Madero ( main street in Chapala). Fast and inexpensive. Copies and Faxes
  16. When did you have the Antigen done? I do not thing they do the PCR test.
  17. The Pizza upstairs is outstanding, fresh made dough, top notch toppings, ultra-clean, dogs welcome on the outside patio. Absolutely great. Have not tried their many other Italian offerings..Forget the rest and enjoy the BEST.
  18. My issue with LMG billing was that they billed your insurance Stateside prices for services received in Mexico.
  19. Agreed, we recently ordered their Flounder Fillet..Perfect. Also have had 2 large orders of their coconut shrimp for parties, huge amounts and all were all eaten and highly praised..Always a great selection of fresh fish, they will cook/fry your selection and deliver..
  20. Any numbers regarding the number of non Mexicans who have tested positive or died due to COVID?
