LaChula
Family and friends of Manuel Espana invite all who know and love Manuel to a special event honoring him in the Capilla del Nuestra Señora del Rosario, the small church on the Ajijic plaza. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at 1:00pm, Friday, July 26th in recognition of Manuel's fifty years of his faithful teaching of the children of San Andres Catholic Church in Ajijic. The Mass will be followed by a "Verbena" or "Kermasse" in the plaza, a beautiful tradition that you can be part of! There will be food in the plaza for everyone present. Let's participate in this joint Mexican/Expatriate fiesta by contributing food as well, a beautiful tradition that you can be part of! Foreigners and Mexicans alike know Manuel's loving personality and his creativity with special meals he has prepared and cooking classes that he teaches. Tables will be provided--look for the Red, White & Blue cloth-covered table to place optional food offerings (suggestions: pick-up finger foods, small sandwiches, cakes, cookies or cut-up fruit) All are invited to this special occasion honoring a member of this community who has made such a loyal commitment
