Isn't there a tour boat docked in Chapala, too? How would I get tickets? What is the cost? Did you enjoy it? How long is the tour? Are beverages on the boats? How about handicap availability? Don't know all the details but goes out mainly on the weekends. Name of boat is the Batur I believe, or something like that. Others can help fill in the blanks to your questions. cedros Posted April 1, 2014 Report Share Posted April 1, 2014 Batur used to go out twice on Sundays at a cost of 180. I asked the other day and they said it is only for rent by groups now. There is still the boat that goes out from the malecon in Jocotepec. When I took the one in Joco they had a meal as well as beverages. It was about 2 hours.
