I'd give it two weeks +. Two weeks to get out of Mexico and a couple of days to deliver in Canada.
The only alternative I can think of is to look for a local travelling NOB who will post the letter in the US or in Canada.

I was one of those who prepaid a year of service 18 months before I was installed.
When the year's advance payment expired they cut me off with no advance contact.
I think they're in the same class as Telmex.

Pedro, that's a great gesture. My congratulations for your generosity.
But being the old S.O.B that you are you're going to be around for another twenty years. What will you plan for next year?
Have a great time!
As a dear friend of mine down here always says "you never see a U-Haul behind a hearse.

And just how big a wheelbarrow full of $$$ did you bring with you, that you want electric appliances????? 🙃
I unvested in solar panels and water heating ten years ago.
Now the only propane I use is for my BBQ. I save tens of thousands of pesos a year on propane and I'm kinder to our environment.

Is there not a Visa renewal program now in effect specifically for folks with expired Visas because of the pandemic?

I gauge cold weather by the chihuahua who basks in the sun outside its house in the next block. He started wearing sweaters a few weeks ago. The owners are working class folks, but their dog has more outfits than I do!
That's a hoot.

I bought a very tasty Nicaraguan puro for $250p. it was just slightly larger than a standard Churchill.
Whoa Pedro, $12 USD or $15 CDN per cigar. You're smoking away the kids' inheritance. LOL.

Fake copies of famous Cuban cigar brands are called "bananas" in Cuba.
I agree many central American brands are as good as their Cuban versions and cost a lot less than the fourteen dollars plus that the famous brands command.

Somewhat related. I see the Scotiabank ATM is now dispensing $1,000 peso notes. Maybe now the machine won't be out of cash so often.

Not very scientific but I measure warm months by the number of nights I need to have the ceiling fans on in the evening and in the cold months the number of nights I have to have supplemental heating.
The last two winters I have not had to turn the heaters on at all and the spring fan days have always been about the same over the past ten years.
I'm happy.

Brings back memories. My family used to put up preserves every fall. The least favorite job I was assigned as the youngest was peeling the Pearl Onions. What a chore for a few small jars!
