Replacement Handle on PVC Valve

I would first try to pry the broken handle off. If possible and you can locate an identical new part, pry off the new handle and attach it to the valve.

You could also just leave it and use pliers to assist when you need to close or open it.

Handle doesn't budge, the use of pliers is the safer approach.

Not repairable.  Needs to be cut out and replaced.  If this type of PVC is exposed to sunlight, the plastic will get brittle and break, indoor use only.  Have the plumber replace it with a better quality brass full port ball valve if it is important to you.

Have replace one with a proper brass ball valve. Would have liked these to have been used originally.
