Alpha1 Posted May 30, 2015 Report Share Posted May 30, 2015 Kite Festival scheduled at Ajijic waterfront Published: 29 November -0001 Written by GR Staff Ajijic’s waterfront Malecon will be the setting for the second annual Festival del Papalote (Kite Fest) from Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31. Activities get under way on Friday from 1 p.m., with troubadour Moises set to perform at 3 p.m. and free workshops in kite-making paper folding, and other handicrafts, starting 4 p.m. The workshops, open to kids and adults, will resume Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. Kite-flying contests will be held both days, 5 p.m. Live music and dance entertainment will also be presented throughout the afternoon.
