ritchie Posted March 23, 2013 Report Share Posted March 23, 2013 I have two remotes for my TV. One for TV on/off and volume and the other is the Shaw satellite remote. My husband pressed the channel up and down on the TV remote (wrong) and the programming disappeared. We have tried everything. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong? We have a green satellite light on the Shaw box , we have the TV set to channel 03 but cannot get the programming to come up. The guide button on the Shaw remote does nothing. We have a second TV in the bedroom where we get programming but it does not have it's own box. It is working and it comes on to the History channel which is what the main tV must be set on. Viajero-Tiempo Posted March 23, 2013 Report Share Posted March 23, 2013 it could be that pressing the chan button on the TV remote altered what signal source the tv is looking for (hdmi, etc) make sure that what the tv thinks is the source is the one cabled from the shaw box Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
