gringohombre
I am leaving Sunday for a few days in Puerto Vallarts. How do I start the journey from Lakeside (I assume once on the couta there will be signs) and how long will it take? I heard about a bridge being out so will this hold me up? Thanks. windansea
go to Guadalajara take the perifico west till you see exit for vallarta, take the cuota for about 2 hours till you see exit for Vallarta (highway 200) this road is through mountains lots of slides only 1 lane in some places there will be delays, bring lots of snacks and water you'll get there, normally takes 5 hours or so but plan on some delays the bridge that fell is between Nuevo Vallarta (Nayarit) and Puerto Vallarta (Jalisco) but the southbound bridge is open they are routing both south and north bound traffic on it.
