shmiller
Enjoyed a couple days with my honey at a gorgeous, small, and quaint B&B high in the hills at Tapalpa Mexico. Nestled in the tall mountain pines, and a short drive from Jocotepec, the mountain highroad route was simply breathtaking. Of course you can speed up the trip via the toll-road. We enjoyed the very Mexican "Magic Town" status of Tapalpa. Evenings at the B&B room included a delicious complimentary white wine in long stemmed glasses and a crackling hardwood fire. Although smallish we were quite happy even at $1200 pesos weekdays, $1400p weekends. Pictured is the view westward from the B&B Casona de Manzano. Intercasa
We enjoyed it as well but did it as a day trip, also did the zip lines there. The roads are pretty rough. TWolf
Those zip lines look cool! I remember training with zip lines, many years ago. It was a gas! They and repelling down cliffs were the two coolest parts of the training. Scaling those cliffs was a nightmare!
