The Beer Garden by the malecon in Chapala, but they are not that great[at least the one time I ordered them,] a bit overcooked and hence, dried out.

"lena" ("llena?" on the west side of Madero, chapala, more or less across the street from Farmacia Simi.

they are listed as "camarones rellno" (wrapped shrimp)

their tempura fish filet is also quite good.

The best I think are at Letty's, shrimp, stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, worth a try

Letty's sound wonderful! The ones I had at Cozumel were very dried out.

As long as we are talking about Letty's, if you want a great shrimp hit, try the shrimp burger. Bit of a cholesterol hit but really good. :-)

We ate at La Iguana De La Piedra last weekend and my wife had the bacon wrapped shrimp. They were excellent. La Iguana is the last waterfront restaurant you come to in San Juan Cosala coming from Ajijic. We had a terrific setting, eating in a palapa right down on the lake.

La Tasca had it on their menu and it was really good. I don't know if it's still there.

I had heard from two ladies who used to be in the food business that the "Mummy Shrimp" there was absolutely fantastic. Have yet to have a chance to check it out.
