    Our first trip to Ajijic was a home exchange with Tom and Ruth Shirley. Ruth passed some years ago, and the email address I have to Tom is so ancient that I don't think he even checks it anymore. I have some photographs that I think he would enjoy having. If you know his email address, or even a cellphone number, I'd appreciate you passing it on.     ask a CPA who is familiar with international taxation. The correct answer will depend on a number of factors, including whether you receive a 1099 or a W-2, and many others. Unless you want to take risks, this board is not going to give you a proper answer to this kind of question. It should take about 15 minutes of a CPA's time - small price to pay.

    Just my 2cents as an ex-Bi...
