At this stage, he cannot fly regular commercial. Any recommendations - or first-hand experiences - with medivac services between Canada and here? My friend is in Vancouver. Oatsie Posted January 8 Report Share Posted January 8 Last year at this time, a friend here in Chapala was diagnosed with a serious heart problem, needing an almost immediate operation. He elected to get a medivac flight to Vancouver. The cost was about $50,000.00 Cdn. I suspect your friend is looking for a private charter, not a medivac flight.
