I'll avoid the tope issue other than to say I've almost been rear-ended twice since they were installed. On one occasion, I had to pull into Cielo Vista to avoid being hit. Driving that stretch several times each week, I've noticed some fly over them while others crawl over them. I am kind of in the middle on speed but the two times I almost got hit the individuals behind me assumed I and the others in front of me were flying over them. Frustrated. Val

James Wayne does terrific Dance Fit and Sit Fit classes designed for Seniors. He teaches these at Ricardo's Studio on the Carretera, just west of the intersection with Juarez in Ajijic. It's on the mountain side of the Carretera. Some who've lived here a while remember this local as one of the old Ajijic Post Office(s). I know he has Sit Fit on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 am. I'm not sure about the times for Dance Fit. I teach Tap afterwards and see the end of his class. Although seated, everyone's sweating and getting a great workout. Enjoy! Val Jones

Hoping someone can tell me where to find a study tube where I can roll up and place 3 art prints for safe mailing. I have a FedEx account and a friend flying NOB tomorrow who will take it and drop it off for mailing but I need to locate the tube to place the prints into. Any ideas? I've found UBER to work well in GDL, Mexico City and other urban areas. I've also used it to get from the GDL airport to Ajijic at a good and fair price. With that said, I do understand that it isn't an option (in general) for those wishing to travel lakeside and would encourage those who need this type of service to establish transportation from one of more reliable Taxi/Driver services available lakeside. I see in the December Ojo del Lago, Ajijic Dental is advertising implants for $7,000 pesos. The Dentist is Dra. Rosio Vidrio Galvez. Asking if anyone has experience with implants and this Dentist. Our long-time Dentist has recommended an implant but he doesn't offer this service. Hoping to find someone who can provide an implant that's affordable but also good quality. Although I use a different massage therapist now, I did have Lupe for many years and also recall that each Saturday he went to GDL to further his education. He is a wonderful therapist and has many skills. Cheers, Val Jones

I think it was 10% of the total cost of the meal(s) I ordered and maybe a $30 peso basic fee. It seemed minimal so I didn't pay much attention to it. Then, I did tip the delivery guy as well. Val

Casa Zoe near Cielo Vista on the Libramiento is quite nice. Also, I have a friend staying at Dr. Leon's Assisted Living facility on the Carretera in Ajijic (where his office used to be) and she's receiving very good care and service. Val Jones

I've had his chicken tenders several times now and they are delicious! Also, really enjoyed the sweet potato fries during my last visit. I'm a fan. Val Jones
