Ellie Posted October 7, 2013 Report Share Posted October 7, 2013 LCS has just been notified that due to the shutdown in the U.S. consular services WILL NOT be available this Wednesday, October 9th. The consulate in Guadalajara is functioning normally but they are not allowed at this time to perform what is considered outreach services. We will be advised\ at a later time when regular services will resume lakeside. If you need further information, the phone number for Passport/Citizenship Services is 01-33-3268-2100. Jackie Posted October 7, 2013 Report Share Posted October 7, 2013 Ellie, Thank you very much for the update !! I had planned my day around seeing the consult staff to pick up my new passport. Hopefully for all of those who have their passports sitting with the consult that they do not have an emergency need to leave the country minus their passport. Would you be so kind to post a notice if they should inform you that they plan on coming to the Lakeside prior to the next planned visit Nov 2nd Wed - Nov 13th . Thank you so much.
