Here they are: There is a local parade in CHAPALA on Saturday, October 12 meeting at the CHAPALA soccer field at 4 PM. The children's Drum and Bugle group will play and there is to be a dance group. The last time in May, we had over 150 people participate, though mostly American and Canadians. This is an International event. Last time there were 60,000 farmers marching in Mexico City! Mexican corn is at the exact center of an international environmental tug of war between Monsanto and the "salt of the earth" farmers. If you can let your mexican neighbors know that would be great.
