My Netflix account is on my American Wells Fargo credit card.

No problem for me last night. I enjoyed Bridgerton

I agree with Mr. Jim Bowie
When my tank reads 50% I prefer to refill (up to 85%). Paying is not quite a painful. I do the calculation and tell the men how many Litera to fill.

Yes, I have had mine directly deposited into my account for years.
It comes in around the third day of the month and the pesos amount deposited is equal to the exchange rate for that day and time. In other words, nothing is deducted for the deposit. Once it is deposited I receive an email in a couple of hours.

Isn't that what I said. This Sunday is the 13th.

For any of you who use SHAW a warning. The US is springing ahead one hour this Sunday. That means our TV schedule will be off by one hour until we go on Daylight Savings time. Mexico goes on Daylight Savings Time on April 3rd.

Is this easier then just going to the Chapala office?

When I had prostate surgery a couple of years ago I used the Urologist at Quality Care. I cannot remember his name but I can very highly recommend him.

I like the place on the carretera Ajijic, at the last light going west, and on the corner lakeside...across from Intercam.

Religious holidays are not normally official government holidays.

At Intercam the social security checks are deposited into the account at full value for the time/date. Unlike when I deposit a Wells Fargo check. They take out 0.6%, I think it is.
Intercam has the $5000 max per day withdrawal from an Intercam ATM with an Intercam Debit card. The policy is determined by Intercam Mexico, not the local account executive. If you an US bank cards there is no problem with more withdrawals. I once watched a man making around 8 withdrawals from the Intercam ATM at the LCS. When I asked him about it he said he was paying his bills, and he was not using an Intercam card. Lucky for me there was still money in the machine when I withdrew my $5000.

artsnob, are you using an Intercam card? Intercam max has always been $5000 and only one transaction per day. Other cards, no problem.

I use my Intercam debit card all the time. Shopping is easy (Walmart, Costco, Superlake), and Walmart even lets' me get cash back (up to $2000). I see no reason to have a Intercam Credit Card. They only let you use it for a small amount. I have my Wells Fargo Credit Card if I need it. For my two hospitalizations I used my Wells Fargo Credit Card.
When I want a lot of money then I go to the Window in the bank. Most of the time I withdraw $5000 (max) from one of the three Intercam ATM. My monthly social security is deposited in the account. To supplement that I write a Wells Fargo check for any amount and the pesos are deposited into my account. That money is in my account within a couple of hours. Last week I paid for my car insurance with the Debit card.

I received this from a business man in the community who is in the know...
"No, it is not legal for someone to do this, let alone and official municipal vehicle/employee. We're going to forward your email to the Ecology department so that they're made aware of this situation and hopefully put an end to this.
We're going to follow up with them via a phone call, in case they don't understand your concern or if they have any doubts.
We'll let you know if/once we get a response from them."
Also, sent him two photos/

I just received mine today. It was up $32. Seems like a normal fluctuation.

In upper Ajijic where I live, there is a very large field down below the houses on our street. Lately the field has become a dumping place for what appears to be construction debris. For the at least the last two weeks a white truck from the Chapala Municipal Government (MCH-022 on the left back side) has been dumping truck loads of tree branches, etc. This is set fire to and for hours we have smoke coming up into our houses. Is this legal? As far as we know the lot is privately owned by a Mexican family.

I would recommend going with a tour. Once you get there you still have to have a local guide up the mountain to find the butterflies.

I have used S.O.S.E. (Systemas y Operacions de Seguridad Electdronica) in
Chapala for years. Morelos 172 376 776 4921 and I am very pleased with them.

Sprinkler System
in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Posted
I have lived in this house for 18 years. During those 18 years I have used Jose Luis, the Rainbird man for my sprinkler problems. Jose has retired so I needed a new man to help me maintain my old 6 zone sprinkler system.
Enter Omar Torres the owner of Lakeside Sprinkler Solutions. I am so glad that I found him. He speaks Excellent English and I am impressed of his knowledge of my sprinklers and the whole system.
