  1. Another guy like you that I saw at my local grocery store. It’s a new kind of man, with a customized electric bicycle.
  2. I wish I had a girlfriend like yours. : )
  3. “Tax is money that people have to pay to the government.” : ) https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax
  4. Thanks guys. I was wondering more about the specific, like: Are there some motor vehicles that don't need to pay tax(/fees)? I’ve seen people driving a golf cart on the street. Electric bicycles are getting practical and popular.
  5. What is "Moto" exactly? Thanks. Sorry. I should be more specific with my question. I wonder if you could list vehicles that are “Moto”, and vehicles are not “Car” nor “Moto”.
  6. It’s outdated. Just for your reference. “Driving Instructions From Chapala to Laredo” (as of 2019) at https://www.accesslakechapala.com/guide/driving-in-mexico/driving-instructions-from-chapala-to-laredo/
  7. Can you print from your thumb drive at a place like OXXO? Or, there’s a better solution? What do you do with this “printer” dependency? Or, trust me, just buy one. : )
  8. Sorry, I’m new here. OK, I’ll also add a Non-Senior Discount. Is that still novel?
  9. I’ve been watching the housing market from a distance for some time. I’m looking in the general price range homes for general gringos. Well priced homes sold quickly, like anywhere else. I don’t see big pricing changes in general. Only thing unusual (blame it on Covid) is the recent several (3 or 4) hotels/B&B's showing up on the market. Anyone want a 9 bedroom 9 bathroom home? Great location, good price!
  10. I think this is what the protest was about. A link to one of lots: https://www.lakechapalarealty.mx/Chapala/Jalisco/Lots_and_Land/Riberas_del_Pilar/Agent/Listing_429651296.html Its “Description: Magnificent 35 lot development with spectacular views of Lake Chapala, and the surrounding mountains. Panoramic view from each lot! The lots are currently ready to build with electric and telephone wiring underground. Located on the foot hills Chapala in the area of Lourdes, Chapala. This development is quite unique in its design and location as there is nothing that comes close to it in quality or location for the area. Amenities are... Clubhouse and swimming pool with 24/7 security. Within walking distance of the Chapala boardwalk, Pharmacy, Oxxo, hardware store, restaurants and other essential services.” YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZLl0L2ziV4&feature=emb_imp_woyt
  11. I’d like to thank each and every one for your feedback posts. Chapala.com Webboard told me, “Sorry, you cannot add any more reactions today.” : ) I counted. It only allows 10 “reactions” in the last 24 hours. OK. I’ll do it later. : ) I need to go back and re-read some of the posts anyway. I appreciate it.
  12. As a newbie looking into Lakeside's real estates, these "water" information are confusing me. * People buy drinking water. So what is “Potable Water” or “Purification System” for? Or we really can drink water from these “things” mentioned? * Is there any water not “Municipal Water”? I think I could ask a realtor. But I think people there would tell me more about the truth. : ) Thanks.
  13. Glad to see some posts on gardening. Thanks. In this wonderful climate, it should be a paradise for gardeners. I’m going to learn something different when I move down there.
  14. We’re thinking of bringing electric bicycles to the Lakeside area. Anything we should know before doing it? Is it treated as a bicycle or a motorbike there? Please share your experiences. Thanks.
  15. Agree. I installed a Mesh Wi-Fi router in my Texas house. We felt the difference right away. And we only bought a low end cheap one at US$100 from my US Walmart. I believe any brand/kind would work fine. Not sure about concrete walls though. Mesh Wi-Fi router is a new kind of technology. Its price has been coming down. Highly recommend replacing one for your old router.
  16. Hundreds, yes hundreds, of them stopped by my Plano, Texas butterfly garden one month ago.
