Thick. I don’t know the coating. It isn’t thin like a tempura batter. More like a beer batter. 

Mama's pool bar , across the street from super lake is now making their own onion rings 50p. Well worth a try.

CG you may be surprised at their poached eggs. On their own bagels, with a mild hollandaise  Sauce, with bacon chips,hash browns, with bacon chips, ask for crispy, and 1 sausage link. 🤔

I had the smoked trout with cream cheese, capers, on their bagel. it was very good. comes with small salad. 100p.Again well worth the drive.They do a great job there. (poached eggs way more than poached eggs.my favorite. CG)

Well CG, I do have better luck peeling while under running water. May have eggs that are to fresh. I'll try to find an older chicken. hehehe.
