Another blessing, Rony, and hope the angels have helped you in your mission!

Headed your way next week....coarse Guayabitos sea salt, 20p per kilo. Easy for me to pick up on my way to an Ajijic housesit. Best thing in the world to clean cast iron (with oil, of course!) pickup following Tuesday at 11am at La Huerta Market.

Cool! I assume I need some sort of fancy cable to go from computer to tv? Remember, I am (or was) a chef, NOT an electronics whiz!

IS there a Bucerias office of Bellon open in Bucerias? If so, what is their phone number? I have a claim which needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY, as it has taken every peso I have to cover the hospital bills I have already paid.
Thanks Maria!!!!

Think when I get there in a couple of weeks, I'll try the same chat with Pancho and hope we can both have some!

They have probably trimmed the stems and put it in water in the fridge, where it belongs. For a brief time, there was an excellent market in Nayarit called Merkabastos. It was unfortunately placed smack in between Walmart and Mega, so it didn't last long. When it opened their watercress was limp. I had a friendly chat with the produce manager and told him about the need to trim the stems and keep it in water. He said he would try it. Since it obviously worked very well, it was always there, perfectly crisp, waiting for me. Alas, no more.....

When you do find it, it almost certainly will not have had the stems put in water so it is rarely fresh.

I was taught that one inch of rain on 1000 sq. ft. of roof collected 650 gallons. My aljibe holds 27000 liters.

I believe she has substitutes filling in for her, at least that was the info I got from the receptionist this week. I think one of them is her husband. For me, if they are good enough for Dra. Camacho they are good enough!

Thanks for the heads-up!

you're looking for Gloria's. Great ribs, on the Lake side, sorry I don't remember more specific directions.

Yes, my friends who travel with the ice chest are road warriors who do 16 our days and have a permanent home in CA.....maybe the friends you are leaving could get together to create a two or three day potluck?
-
Consider taking an ice chest full of home cooked food...grilled chicken, pasta salads, tuna, whatever you like. Saves time rather than stopping and eliminates the dreaded thought of three days a prisoner of the loo in your motel.
