ManxMan
We're flying on Volaris and intend to carryon our CPAP machines. Volaris doesn't allow electronic equipment to be carried on. Does anyone have experience with this? Do they require CPAPs to be checked baggage instead of carry on?
ibarra
https://cms.volaris.com/en/travel-info/special-services/medical-assistance/ The only restriction that I see is that the CPAP must meet measurement requirements. 1
Natasha
Can't speak to Volaris, but my sister has had to put her CPAP machine in checked baggage with many airlines to/from many destinations. You'd best get clarification direct from the source.

I know you did my friend. But this is a major important question, and with my January wheelchair experiences ( another Mexican airline) which was correctly done on line vs the reality on days travelled, I still think he should get confirmation from a real person.

mexijims1
Better yet, call the Volaris Customer service number in the U.S. -- 1 855 VOLARIS (8652747) in the US.
tjt
Curious to know the outcome of this with Volaris. I tried the whats app and it was "automated". I know on US based carriers, medical devices are not counted toward carry on. I've travelled with my cpap for years, usually as carry on and once I tell TSA and gate agents, they just wave me on. ibarra
The website I provided is from Volaris. It lists what you can and can't take on board a Volaris flight, and the size requirements/restrictions.
