sunnyvmx
Accidentally tore a bill in half. Is it possible to get it replaced?
Floradude
I would try at your bank.
ibarra
Go to a bank or a financial institution. I did that once. Taped the bill back together and went to HSBC and they replaced it. We have an account there and that may be why they did it - who knows.
Natasha
Santander Bank in Chapala used to be officially designated to receive/replace torn or otherwise damaged bills ( even if not fully intact). Been there more than once (pets........😒.) If another bank doesn't want to do it, go there.
mexijims1
I had a bad experience at CI Banco. Got a torn bill from their ATM and took it inside. They would not replace it since I did not have an account there. On the other hand, I went into Multiva and they replaced a torn bill without asking me if I had an account there ! ibarra
I took 2 200's to HSBC Monday morning that were torn completely in half. They taped them then gave me replacements. No problem, no questions asked. I did not have to show them any identification or proof that we have an account with them.

I don't think it can get much easier than this.
