Portable Propane Heater Repair

99% of the time the problem is the thermocouple.  It is a safety device.  When the probe which is near or in the flame is hot it sends an electric current to keep the gas valve open. When it is cold it shuts the gas valve.

It is a simple replacement (usually) but finding the exact one for this heater might be difficult.

A couple of examples

At the corner of Felipe Angeles and Colon (mountain side in Ajijic) is a repair shop that keeps both of my propane heaters in tip top shape. It is not easy to get to and the parking is very limited which is why I get the heaters serviced when snowbirds are not here. I am not sure if he speaks English or not. He just does exceptional work imho.

Which corner, in case I have to take it in?
