Welcome to Mexico!

 

Let us support you with basic information that will help you make good decisions and understand how things work in the region.

Many times, directly asking a person who has gone through the experiences of living in the region helps us have a clearer mind to prepare for the change.

This class is given by Zoom. We do not record it. It is completely live.

We will send you some materials as well as the link to the session by mail so that you can follow the class in a clearer and more orderly manner. There is a lot to learn.

About our instructor.

Barbara Harkness moved to Ajijic from Canada in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Education, taught in a public school and community college in Canada, and managed a training department in the Head Office of a major bank. At Lakeside she has taught English at Instituto Loyola and the International School. She has volunteered with LCS for several years.  Barbara is happy to share her experiences of learning to live at Lakeside … and avoid some bumps in the road!
