sm1mex
So the red light intersection at Chapala is open permanently now?
Oatsie
Yes.... The intersection of Hidalgo and Francisco Madero. Permanently ? ? ? ? Who knows, there is road construction all around it.

Mainecoons
Just came back from picking up some stuff there and it was no problem in either direction. They have cops at the intersection directing traffic and keeping things moving. 1
Lexy
Milo--The converging six corners many of us are familiar with are in Ajijic. Lexy
Yo1
That "4 corners" area is not called by that name. It is called "the Chapala light by the fountain" or "the light coming into Chapala" and others, but not 4 corners. It is very confusing using that term. 3
bmh
4 corners map is in chapala, 6 corners is in Ajijic and 9 corners in Guadaljara
dichosalocura
I live in Chapala and have never heard anybody call it 4 corners, that is confusing. Its just the light or intersection at Hidalgo that takes you to Ajijic. We like to keep it simple. Almost at every intersection in centro Chapala has 4 corners. 1

All simple intersections have 4 corners and I have never heard of a 4 corner intersection either.
